Visiting Relative (Q1 Visa)
- Family member or relative of Chinese citizen(s) or foreigner(s) with permanent residence status in China
For Family Reunion
- Family members refers to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters,
grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law.

Chinese ID of the inviting individual or foreign passport and permanent residence permit (Photocopy)

Original and photocopy of certification
- Marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship
showing the relationship of family members between applicant and inviting individual.

Invitation letter
- Invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign with a Chinese permanent residence permit who lives in China.
Content of Invite Letter as follows :
a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth)
b) Information on the visit
- Purpose of visit, intended arrival date,
- Place(s) of intended residence, intended duration of residence
- Relations between the applicant and the inviting individual
- financial source for expenditures
c) Information on the inviting individual
- name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp
- Signature of legal representative or the inviting individual
For Foster Care

Foster entrustment notarization issued by Chinese Embassies/Consulates General in foreign countries
or Foster Care Power of Attorney notarized and authenticated in the country of residence or in China.

Original and photocopy of the consignor’s passport(s),
as well as the original and photocopy of certification (marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau
or notarized certification of kinship) showing the relationship between parents and children.

A letter of consent on foster care issued by the trustee living in China who has agreed to provide foster care services
and a photocopy of the ID of the trustee.

A photocopy of the certificate indicating the permanent residence status abroad of the parent(s) when the child was born,
provided that either or both parents of the child are Chinese citizens.

Visiting Relative (Q2 Visa)
-Family member or relative of Chinese citizen(s) or foreigner(s) with permanent residence status in China

Photocopy of Chinese ID or foreign passport and permanent residence permit of the inviting individual.

Applicants are required to provide photocopy of certification
(marriage certificate,birth certificate or notarized certificaton of kinship)
showing the relationship of family members between the applicants and inviting parties.

Invitation Letter
- An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent residence permit who lives in China.
The invitation letter should contain:
a) Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
b) Information on the visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited,
relations between the applicant and the inviting individual, financial source for expenditures)
c) Information on the inviting individual (name, contact number, address, signature etc.)

Visiting Relative (S1 Visa)
- Family member of foreigner(s) staying or residence in China or person who needs to come to China for personal matters
- Spouse, parent, child under the age of 18 or parent-in-law of foreigner(s) residing in China for work, study or other purposes who visit China for 180 days or more
- Person who needs to reside in China for other personal matters
Immediate family members refers to spouses, parents, sons or daughters under the age of 18, parents-in-law.
- A photocopy of the inviting individual’s passport and residence permit
- Original and photocopy of certification (marriage certificate, birth certificate,
certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship) showing the relationship of immediate family members between applicants and inviting individual.
- Invitation Letter
An invitation letter from the inviting individual (a foreigner who stays or resides in China for work or studies) which contains:
- Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
- Information on the visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place of intended residence,
relations between the applicant and the inviting individual, financial source for expenditures, etc.)
- Information on the inviting individual (name, contact telephone number, address, signature, etc.)
We kindly remind you that:
Holders of S1 Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry,
apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people’s governments at or
above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners’ residence permits.

Note :
Biometric Requirements - NEW!
- Traveller applying for Single or Double entry DO NOT NEED to do biometric in person at Visa Center.
- Traveller applying for Multiple Visa and Domestic Visa entry to China needs to get biometric recorded prior to trip.
- If your biometric is NOT recorded on this current passport, you will have to be present IN-PERSON at visa center for Biometric on Appointment Date
- The biometric is valid for 5 year in the passport.
- Subsequent visa application on the same passport will not require any in-person appearance, till you re-apply a new passport.

Exemptions for the fingerprint requirements are granted to:
1. Children under the age of fourteen;
2. Seniors above the age of seventy;
3. Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible;
4. Diplomatic passport holders or applicants enjoy reciprocal arrangement

Return of Passport and Visa
- Passport with visa will be ready for collection in our office on Return Date from 5pm to 7pm
- For delivery, we will arrange delivery to you 1 day after Return Date or on a weekday following if it date falls on weekend
